Ciriaca Morano Rodríguez is a researcher of the CSIC (Spanish National Research Council) and she has been Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid. She has specialised in critical edition and in the studies of Latin texts, with a special interest in biblical topics and in the corpus of the unpublished Latin manuscripts of Isaac Newton. Her most important publications have been carried out in various projects, among which special mention must be given to the Thesaurus Linguae Latinae of Heidelberg (Germany) and the Vetus Latina Institut of Beuron (Germany). After the publication of the Editio Princeps of the work Issac Newton. El Templo de Salomón, she undertook, in 1996, the project Edición crítica de textos inéditos de Isaac Newton en lengua latina, which has been carried out under her direction. This has been the first project, nationally or internationally, to set as its objective the systematic edition of the unpublished texts of Isaac Newton.
