En varias ocasiones, María Cruz García de Enterría se refirió a la literatura de cordel como un género fronterizo. Con tal denominación, reunimos hoy en este volumen treinta y cinco de los trabajos en los que fue forjando su sólida trayectoria. Más de tres décadas de investigación que han sido un revulsivo para estudiosos de los pliegos sueltos y que al presentarse de manera conjunta pretenden ser una herramienta útil y un sentido homenaje a la autora.
On several occasions, María Cruz García de Enterría referred to cordel literature as a frontier genre. With this denomination, we bring together today in this volume thirty-five of the works on which she has forged her solid career. More than three decades of research that have been a revulsive for scholars of the pliegos sueltos and which, when presented together, are intended to be a useful tool and a heartfelt tribute to the author.
