This book, Nuevos Paradigmas para la Sustentabilidad y la Seguridad Alimentaria, was written by researchers and representatives of the Innovagro Network, which is made up of universities, research institutes and companies in the agricultural sector in Spain and various Latin American countries. With a preface written by the rector of the University of Campinas, Prof. Antonio José de Almeida Meirelles, and by the rector and president of the Innovagro Network, Prof. Manuel Torralbo Rodríguez, the book addresses issues related to the experience of sustainable agriculture in several Latin American countries and also in Spain. Throughout its ten chapters, the authors present these experiences in an attempt to construct a new paradigm for the region.
